The Board of the Providence Reformed Collegiate Association Inc.
invites applications from qualified individuals for the following position:

Part Time Financial Administrator (approx. 25 hrs/month)

The successful applicant will begin training in April 2019 and assume the role on May 1, 2019.
                                                            
The successful applicant will demonstrate or have:
  • Accounting background, preferably post-secondary courses/education
  • Proficiency in programs such as QuickBooks and Excel
  • Experience in payroll and account management/book keeping
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Duties including, but not limited to:
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable with monthly and year end reconciliations
  • Accurate record keeping of parent tuition files for the purpose of full tuition collection and accurate receipting.
  • Working closely with the Board treasurer on all financial matters, including supplying the treasurer with reports.
  • Prepare preliminary and final budgets for upcoming school year.
  • Prepare past year final financial statements
  • Communicating with other committees, who have a working budget.
  • Keeping membership lists up to date.
  • Submitting electronic HST rebates to CRA.
  • Completion and submission of T3010 Charity Return to CRA
  • Prompt and timely communication with members/board
  • Completion and distribution of tax receipts (for donors and staff)
  • Payroll with government remittances, and benefit/health plan enrollment
  • Managing preauthorized deposits
  • Entering deposits into donation software
  • Regular bank deposits
  • Emailing financial statements to members in arrears.
  • Available for one nightly meeting each month at PRC.
