Our Academic Program
As children of the King, students at Providence Reformed Collegiate require an education to help prepare them for a life of service. A secondary education is of tremendous importance and value for our students, and we are committed to ensuring a successful outcome for each enrolled student. A student must remain in secondary school until he or she has reached the age of eighteen or obtained an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
We offer a wide variety of courses at applied, open, academic, university prep, and college prep levels. We currently offer 50 different courses, with an average class size of 15.5 students. Providence offers credits towards the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). The requirements for earning an OSSD are as follows:

Our excellent Learning Assistance department is available to provide support for all students, whether it's short-term help, or long-term support for students with specific learning needs identified in IEPs.
We would love to meet with you to see how our Learning Assistance staff in the commons can be of assistance. Our LA staff can help with alternative testing, learning coaching, note-taking, tutoring, organization, etc. |
