Tuition Structure
Providence Reformed Collegiate is a private secondary school, and therefore does not receive any financial support from the Ontario government. Funding is made possible by means of tuition payments, by contributions from donors, members and supporting churches, and through annual membership fees.
Each spring the Board of Directors determines the tuition fees for the following school year, and members have the opportunity to vote on the set amount at the spring membership meeting.
Please contact the school office for information about tuition rates.
If eligible, a charitable donation receipt may be issued to the person paying tuition for a percentage of the tuition fees.
Tuition and donations cover the cost of education, including textbooks. Students are expected to purchase their own school supplies such as binders, notebooks, writing utensils and calculators, and may be required to contribute toward costs for athletic team fees and other extra-curricular activities.
Parents of children attending the school are obligated to pay the tuition regularly, in advance of education received. Methods of payment are:
Families who enroll children after the beginning of the school year, or who leave during the school year, will be levied pro-rated tuition fees.
In cases where parents sincerely wish to fulfill their baptism vow and educate their children at Providence, but are not able to meet the tuition fees due to financial challenges, the Board will speak to these families on a case by case basis.
